Simply Perfect

As I mentioned in my last post, I was getting off the grid for the weekend in a cabin out in Southwest Wisconsin, and it was exactly what I needed.

A crackling fire in the wood burning stove, home cooking in the cozy kitchen (lasagna and brownies), hiking at night as well as in Sunday’s fresh snowfall, an eagle sighting, and lots of quiet time with my person.

It was the exact tune up I needed to get my creativity flowing again (my tank of blog ideas is finally filled up) and get focused on training for my 100 miler!

Lots to look forward to! Here are a few photos from my divinely simple weekend. Happy Monday!
